Boont Amber Ale won the Silver Medal at the 2003 Great American Beer Festival, in the American-Style Amber/Red Ale category, has several other medals, as well, and was named the “best beer brewed in Northern California,” by the San Francisco Bay Guardian.

Boont Amber Ale is a medium bodied pale ale with a beautiful copper color, a robust head, and the rich flavor of caramel malt. This very smooth and exceptionally drinkable beer is excellent with steaks, chicken, pasta, and other flavorful meals.

As with all of our products, Boont Amber Ale is never sterile filtered nor heat pasteurized, and should be stored in refrigeration. However, to fully enjoy its rich and complex flavor, it should be served between 40° and 45°F

A brew that’s ripe with flavor.
Our Tart Peach Kölsch is a fresh take on one of our very first beers. The juicy aroma and flavor of ripe peach complements the subtle fruitiness from the Kölsch yeast in this bright, refreshing ale. Add a tickle of tartness to round out the senses, and you get a new brew that’s interestingly delightful.

A new twist on the barrel-aged version of our American Barleywine, Old Numbskull has been matured in premium rye whiskey barrels for over a year to develop its rich and intense flavor profile. The result is an amazingly complex beer that balances the caramel and toasted malt character of Old Numbskull with spicy notes of vanilla and oak from the barrel aging process.

A strong amber ale brewed with 5 different malts and hops. Enticing aromas and flavors of toasted malt frame an assertive, earthy bitterness. Pairs well with nutty, salty cheeses and flame grilled meats.

An Imperial sour blonde ale brewed with muscat grapes and apricots, aged in white wine barrels. The result is a deeply fragrant hybrid that captures the Northern California terroir and seamlessly melds the complex tartness of a Belgian-inspired sour ale with the sun-ripened boldness of white wine grapes. Serve this very limited release alongside fresh raw oysters, steamed mussels and pair with decadent celebrations.

A malty, somewhat spicy, yet very hoppy brew that is dry hopped and brewed with huge amounts of Pacific Northwest hops. Yes, we use rye in this amazing brew.

Gramarye is the practice of learning magic. For thousands of years, people have used a  grimoire (book of magic) to cast spells and summon spirits. Of course, magic fell out of favor over the  centuries, the same as brewing with rye. Interest in magic seems to be on the upswing these days and so is the interest in brewing with rye. A coincidence? This is our take on session pale ale made with a dose of rye malt to give it that luscious feel and snappy finish. We think it is magical.

The original name of this original ale was originally derived from an origin so heinous that we cannot reveal its aboriginal oregeny. sorry. Actually, it's an easy drinking malty Copper Ale that goes easy on the hops. Whatever.

This ale is made with a special roast of caramel malt, which gives it a lovely red hue and subtle caramel flavor. A large amount of hops is added late to the kettle and the fermentor, giving this beer a wonderful floral nose with hints of nectar and citrus carrying through to the palate. 23.6 IBU, 16.35 Plato, 7.65%

The RED is easily considered a double in strength, and burst open with a full fruit candy like flavor, offset by a dry hoppy-ness, perfectly balanced. You could also categorize it as a stronger amber ale.
