The Coronado Collection is our limited release series of barrel-aged liquid treasures. Only the boldest bars enter the barrels, and after months of aging, they emerge transformed. Enjoy now, or cellar for years to come.

Rich espresso and chocolate notes from the beer meld with sweet toasted coconut, before aging for several months in fresh bourbon barrels. The barrels impart the beer with additional hints of coconut and vanilla for a new take on this classic American dessert. - ABV: 9.0%

About the Beer:
This easy-drinking (OK it's around 9 percent so maybe easy-drinking in a relative sense) stout has tons of malty richness. It has a wonderful roast coffee aroma and flavor along with chocolate and dark fruit notes. This is a great beer to serve with dessert, or better yet, make it the dessert by pouring it over vanilla bean ice cream.

Like India Pale Ale, the classic Imperial Stouts were originally brewed with high levels of alcohol and hops to withstand the rigors of a long sea journey, not to India but to Imperial Russia and the Baltic States. Our version is an over-the-top riff on the style, with a huge grain bill featuring several kinds of malted barley, wheat, rye, oats, and spelt. Robust grain and coffee flavors are counterbalanced by date and plum notes from the Belgian yeast. To add extra complexity and depth, this Imperial Stout is made up of a blend of freshly brewed beer and several barrel-aged beers, carefully balanced. Za Vas!

Stout is an old-fashioned beer, but still popular in English speaking countries. Upon request by the American importer, we brew Stout a couple of times a year, with roasted malt, caramel malt and pale malt, Nugget hops and the same fermentation as Oerbier. The combination of all that is a bitter, tart beer, with character. It could have been drunk in England or Ireland some 200 years ago. Cheers!

Brewed with well water (the original well at the Old Brewery, sunk in 1758, is still in use, with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground); fermented in ‘stone Yorkshire squares’ to create an almost opaque, wonderfully silky and smooth textured ale with a complex medium dry palate and bittersweet finish.
