96 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"One of Margaret River's (and Australia's) iconic Chardonnays, Leeuwin's 2014 Art Series Chardonnay continues that proud tradition. Never shy on toasty, nutty oak or bold fruit, the 2014 features both seamlessly woven together in perhaps greater harmony than in past vintages. Hints of white peach, Bosc pear and citrus appear on the medium-bodied palate and linger on the elegant, finely textured finish." - Joe Czerwinski (29th Dec 2017)

98 Points & "Editors’ Choice" - Wine Enthusiast Magazine:
"Full-bodied and plush yet vibrant and imbued with fresh fruit, this is simply superb. The oak is present but never dominant, adding brown sugar and cinnamon elements to blueberry, roasted meat, espresso and black olive notes. A hint of peppery spice also creeps into this impossibly complex wine. The finish combines power, length, freshness and dusty tannins, suggesting that while impressive now, it should age well. Drink now–2030." - Joe Czerwinski (4/1/2017)

97+ Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2014 Run Rig opens with a bang, delivering intense fruits of the forest and blackberry preserve notes with hints of sandalwood, cardamom, dried Provence herbs, Indian spices and garrigue. Full-bodied, rich, concentrated and oh, so satisfying, the beauty ticks all the great Barossa Shiraz boxes and then some. It is still relatively primary, so I’d recommend giving it another 2-3 years at least in bottle and drink it over the next 20+." - Lisa Perrotti-Brown (31st Aug 2017)

95 Points - James Suckling:
"Super tarry with a coal, smoky edge. It is bursting with aromas of blackberries and dark plums, as well as a dark-spice thread and plenty of black licorice. The palate has deep flavors in a smooth, fleshy medium-bodied frame. Impressive concentration, deep ripeness and a long future. Drink or hold." - (August 14, 2018)

97 Points - James Suckling:
"This is a wine of impressive depth and detail with a strong delivery of ripe and lively black cherries, blackberries, blood plums and mulberries. Dark chocolate, baking spices and tarry nuances, too. The palate has immensely powerful flavors that are faithfully guarded with long, deep tannins, carrying a very confident, sexy and convincing expression of great Barossa shiraz. A superb wine. Drink or hold." (August 14, 2018)

97 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"There's no denying the power and concentration of Torbreck's 2013 The Laird. The fruit is impressive, the oak luxurious, the texture velvety, yet I can't help but wonder if it needs to spend that extra time in barrel. Complex notes of baking spices, licorice and pepper add nuance to the Christmas-cake flavors and somehow emerge savory on the long finish. It's a wonderful wine, but would I rather have three bottles of RunRig? Without question." - Joe Czerwinski (Mar 2018)
