years: 20% from barrel distilled in 1998, 40% from barrel distilled in
2000 and 30% from barrel distilled in 2003. Elegant oxidation and long

for a second nibble.
The apples are a mixture of the four categories: sweet, bittersweet,
acidic and bitter composed of numerous include Domaine, Bedan, Fagotier,
St. Philbert, Frequin Rouge, and the acidic Rimbault, Petit Jaune and
Blanc Sur.
Soft, sweet with great acidity and sings with notes of green apple,
vanilla and baking spice. Showing forthcoming apple flavors, along with a

Notes from the Maker:
An orchard is bathed in the long rays of a late September sun. It is early evening and the air is still warm, tempered by a gentle breeze. The atmosphere is reminiscent of Van Gogh’s Arles and the soundtrack is the warm voice of Cesária Évora. Aromas of roasted nectarines, ripe apricots and succulent melon inspire the lingering first sip, soft as brioche.

Double Gold Best Cognac - WSWA Tasting Competition 2017
Aromas of roasted nectarines, ripe apricots and succulent melon inspire the lingering first sip, soft as brioche. Suave yet delicate, Rare is a classic expression of the House of Hine and a benchmark for our entire collection of cognacs. It reinterprets the fruity flavours characteristic of the white wines produced from Charente vines, particularly from the Grande and Petite Champagne varieties.

Cognac Notes:
In a blend of mature eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne, Antique sets out to be different. A perpetual conversation between the fruit and oak reveals notes of hazelnut, ripe quince and mild spices, appearing amid accents of fig tart and blonde tobacco. Mischievous complexity comes into being, along with sleek vivacity. Accompanied by mature mimolette or cheddar cheese, a roasted pineapple or a few pieces of orange chocolate, Antique lingers even longer.
