97 Points - James Suckling (2015 Vintage):
"Extremely deep black-purple color. Concentrated and tannic, but also super-fresh. This needs a few years to open up fully, but the balance is already very impressive. The finish is long and very polished. Leave four or five years to soften." - (Jan 2018)

94 Points & #26 Top 100 of 2018 - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"Rich and focused, this red delivers ripe fruit flavors of currant and blackberry that mingle with espresso, mineral and licorice notes. The firm tannins are well-integrated and crisp acidity keeps this focused. Concentrated and harmonious. Drink now through 2030. 2,500 cases made." – TM (Sep 30, 2018)

"A beautiful wine, with layers of cedary herbs, black cherries, currants, toasted spice and pencil lead, the 2014 El Jefe Tempranillo Stoneridge Vineyard hits the palate with full-bodied richness, an elegant, silky texture, plenty of concentration and a great finish. It’s just another incredible example of this variety coming from Washington." - Jeb Dunnuck (Jun 2017)

"Very fresh and vivid 2009 with berries, dark spice and hints of walnuts. Full-bodied, reserved and so held back and muscular, but you don’t feel the tannins and the strength. A great wine. Give it two or three years. Try in 2020." (August 2, 2018)

"Made from 100% Tinta de Toro aged ten months in French and American oak, the full-bodied, complex, dry 2012 Flor de Vetus offers up notes of Provencal herbs, white chocolate and jammy black cherry and blackcurrant fruit. This opulent, chewy, voluptuously textured red comes from high-elevation (2,100 feet) vineyards and represents a stunning value. Drink it over the next 3-4 years." - Robert M. Parker, Jr. (Jun 2014)

95 Points & Editors’ Choice - Wine Enthusiast Magazine:
"Tarry blackberry and cheesy oak aromas are appropriate for a wine of this size and magnitude. In the mouth, this Tinta de Toro is expansive and grabby, with bullish tannins. Slightly salty earthy accents come with core blackberry flavors and notes of baking spices and chocolate, while on the finish this is long, chocolaty, delicious and not too hard or tannic. Drink through 2023." - Michael Schachner (7/1/2017)

94 Points - James Suckling:
"Super deep and concentrated, this has menacingly deep black plum and cherry fruits. There are iodine and coal smoky notes, yet the fruit is all powerful. There's an extra dimension on the palate with a silky glycerol layer. Drink now but best from 2025." (Jan 2018)

91+ Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"I loved the textbook 2012 Señorío de P. Peciña Crianza, which has the usual house blend of Tempranillo with 3% Garnacha and 2% Graciano; it was fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and matured in used American oak barrels for some 24 months with hand racking every six months. It has a great balance between age and youth, modernity and tradition, fruit and spice, balsam and freshness. The palate feels polished, with resolved tannins and very god balance. A great improvement over previous vintages. 100,000 bottles produced." - Luis Gutiérrez (30th Aug 2016)
