94 Points - Antonio Galloni's Vinous:
"The 2014 Pinot Noir Las Orillas is deep and strikingly resonant, with attractive tobacco, earthiness and savory notes that add layers of nuance to the intense bold Pinot fruit. The 2014 was done with a generous amount of whole clusters, but that is not especially evident. This is a gorgeous wine from Mattias Pippig." - Antonio Galloni (Sep 2018)

94-96 Points - Antonio Galloni's Vinous:
"The 2017 Musigny Vieilles Vignes Grand Cru has a very expressive, complex bouquet, the mélange of red, blue and black fruit making it difficult to identify a single dominant color. Blueberry, wild strawberry and black currant intermingle, and hints of sea spray and touches of orange blossom develop with time. The harmonious, silky palate is almost like a Romanée-Saint-Vivant in texture, offering great depth and an energetic, peppery finish that lingers long in the mouth. A divine Musigny that will deserve some bottle age." - Neal Martin (Jan 2019)

TASTING NOTES:
Blush pink with a copper hue, this wine has the classic ‘eye of the partridge’ color. Beautiful fruit aromas of nectarine, peach, and apricot are joined by refreshing hints of citrus. An abundance of delicate white plum, peach, honeydew, and ripe nectarine fill the palate with lively acidity. The brightness verges on minerality, but this rosé has mouthwatering character that carries through to a long-lasting, satisfying finish.

Wine Spectator Magazine (2016 vintage):
"A rich, plush style, dark in color, with dark berry flavors and touches of licorice, jazzy oak, vanilla, cedar and dill. Ends with a long finish. Drink now. 5,500 cases made." - JL (Feb 28, 2017)

Allen Meadows' Burghound (2016 Vintage):
"A restrained and cool nose of various dark berries, newly turned earth and a whiff of the sauvage introduces less concentrated but once again attractively energetic flavors that culminate in a mildly austere and slightly dry finish." - (Apr 15, 2018)

94 Points - Wine Enthusiast (2012 Vintage):
"Many wineries source fruit from this exceptional vineyard, but few make a better wine than this. Fragrant, elegant and smooth, it’s tight and detailed, with a toasty edge to pretty cherry fruit. It flows gracefully into a finish laden with milk chocolate highlights and a streak of cola." - Paul Gregutt (8/1/2014)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2014 Bourgogne Passetoutgrain, a blend of 10% Gamay and 90% Pinot Noir, has a light cassis, pressed flower nose that just lacks a little delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with fleshy red berry fruit, nicely balanced with an easy drinking, quite structured finish." - Neal Martin (30th Dec 2015)

92-94 Points - Allen Meadows' Burghound:
"An intensely earthy and animale nose of dark berries, plum, floral hints and cassis scents introduce textured, precise and brooding broad-shouldered flavors that brim with dry extract. This is a powerful yet supple Corton and like the Aux Cras this seems a bit friendlier and more accessible version compared to the reserve that I typically encounter here, in fact despite the fact that this will need every bit of 15 years to arrive at its peak drinkability, this will probably not be unduly difficult young." - (Jan 14, 2013)

90+ Points - Antonio Galloni's Vinous:
"Vivid ruby. Aromas of dried cherry, blackberry, rose oil and musky underbrush, with smoke and vanilla accents emerging slowly. Chewy and focused in the mouth, offering bitter cherry and mocha flavors that tighten up on the back half. Showing a youthfully structured character, finishing with firm grip and good smoky persistence." - Josh Raynolds (Oct 2015)

92 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"Tight and chalky, with flint- and smoke-inflected apple and lemon flavors. With air, this gains richness and harmony, turning creamy in texture. Butter, pastry and acacia accents grace the long finish." – BS (Jun 15, 2014)
