95+ Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"From vines planted in 1945, the 2017 Zinfandel Dusi Vineyard has a medium to deep ruby color and nose of preserved peach, dried blueberry, violet and lilac with lush ripe fruits at the core and an earthy/herbs hint. Full-bodied, it has great layers of peachy and tricolored fruits in the mouth with lovely perfume. It's framed by firm, pleasantly grippy tannins and good juicy acidity to carry the very long, savory-laced finish. 1,775 cases produced." - Erin Brooks (14th Mar 2019)

96 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2014 Zinfandel Aida Estate (2014 is a somewhat better vintage for Zinfandel than 2013) from 40-year-old vines, comes across like a French Rhône Valley Châteauneuf du Pape. Loads of lavender, Provençal herbs, pepper, blackcurrants and black cherries soar from the glass of this dense, purple wine, which is a blend of 88% Zinfandel and 12% Petite Sirah from the rocky soils of the Aida estate. It is deep, full-bodied and aged 20 months in 500-liter French puncheons. This is a fabulous Zinfandel and one of the finest I tasted in what is a strong vintage for Zinfandel. Unfortunately, only about 300 cases were made." - Robert M. Parker, Jr. (Oct 2016)

94+ Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Zinfandel Aida Estate is a little youthfully reticent to begin, opening out to reveal bags of preserved black cherries, dried mulberries, prunes and chocolate mint suggestions with nuances of kirsch, spice box, underbrush and tilled soil plus a waft of rose hip tea. Full-bodied and boldly fruited in the mouth, it has a firm frame of plush tannins and fantastic freshness lifting the seductive spiced berry preserves layers to a long, earth-laced finish." - Lisa Perrotti-Brown (29th Oct 2018)

Notes from the Winemaker:
The exciting 2017 Gamba Estate Old Vine Zinfandel is brilliant, with bright ruby hues that beckon in the bowl of the glass. The aroma offers raspberries, dried herbs, vanilla and intense rainier cherry aromas. Medium to full in body, as the wine breathes, the palate bursts with fresh red and blue berries, stone fruit, nectarine and ripe cherry that evolve into delicious holiday spices and notes of sandalwood. The mouthfeel is polished and bright, with mild, mouth-watering tannins, making for a complex wine that is focused and enjoyable from beginning to end. The finish is lengthy, with waves of gushing bright fruit and a pleasant lifting acidity that echoes with toasty oak.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (2014 Vintage):
"Deep garnet colored, the 2014 Zinfandel Family Ranches offers up spice cake and intoxicating potpourri with underlying notes of prunes and dried mulberries. Big, voluptuous and full-bodied on the palate, it is a total comfort wine, though it finishes just a little hot and clumsy to warrant a higher score." - Lisa Perrotti-Brown (30th Jun 2017)

Notes from the Winemaker:
"Our limited production Dry Creek Valley Petite Sirah showcases a beautiful deep scarlet/purple color. Big and juicy and abundantly extracted, offering loads of dark berry fruits, including ripe blueberry and blackberry on the nose, followed by notes of plum, cinnamon, brown sugar and hint of molasses on the palate. The wine is exquisitely balanced with refined and polished tannins. The mouth feel is silky, rich, round and medium to full in body, but not heavy. This delicious Petite Sirah finishes with drying yet silky tannins, toasty, satisfying notes of espresso bean and a fresh acidity, yet retains an appealing softness. Enjoy."
