92-93 Points - James Suckling:
"Super plush, opulent, sweet red-plum, raspberry-compote and darker blackberry notes. The palate is bathed in mixed-berry flavor and some dark-mineral notes. Really supple, then turning fine and tightening through the finish. Noble tannins. 80 per cent grenache and 20 per cent syrah." - (6 Jul, 2018)

"A ripe style, this sports cherry, raspberry, violet and mineral aromas and flavors, matched to a tensile structure, revealing fine balance and length. Best from 2021 through 2033." — B.S. (Jun 5, 2019)

"Aromas of blueberries, blackberries and flowers follow through to a full-bodied, dense and layered palate with lots of dark chocolate, hazelnuts and berries at the end. A hint of white pepper. Shows lots of tannins, but they are round and polished. Drink after 2022." - (12 Feb, 2019)

100 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon entirely from the Pritchard Hill estate and aged in 90% new oak, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet-purple colored and has a disarmingly profound red roses and red and black currant nose with wild blueberries and yeast extract accents plus tapenade, tilled soil, subtle exotic spices and pencil shavings and the faintest waft of lavender. The palate is ethereal in its weight with a medium to full-body supported by firm yet perfectly ripe, grainy tannins structuring the tightly wound savory layers and leading to a very long, fragrant earth finish. So poised, so classy, so Bryant." - Lisa Perrotti-Brown (29th Oct 2018)

93 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
"On a whole other level, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Mise en Place is unquestionably the star of the show here and checks in as 89% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% Merlot brought up in 50% new French oak. It reveals a healthy purple color as well as a ripe, sexy bouquet of plums, black cherries, charcuterie, and leafy herbs. With medium to full-bodied richness, ripe tannin, and a mouthfilling texture, it’s a seamless Oakville Cabernet that can be drunk today or cellared for 10-15 years." - Jeb Dunnuck (1/31/2019)

97 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
"One of the gems in the lineup as well as in the vintage is the 2015 Bossman. Made from a mix of Syrah, Grenache, Viognier, and Petite Sirah aged 25 months in 60% new oak, its vivid ruby/purple color is followed by a huge perfume of blueberries, bacon fat, black olives, and smoked herbs. It’s deep, full-bodied, layered, and multi-dimensional on the palate, with no hard edges and a sensational finish. Hats off to winemaker Matthias Pippig for this awesome Santa Barbara County blend!" - (10/15/2018)

94 Points - Antonio Galloni's Vinous:
"The 2014 Pinot Noir Las Orillas is deep and strikingly resonant, with attractive tobacco, earthiness and savory notes that add layers of nuance to the intense bold Pinot fruit. The 2014 was done with a generous amount of whole clusters, but that is not especially evident. This is a gorgeous wine from Mattias Pippig." - Antonio Galloni (Sep 2018)

95 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Tasted twice Deep garnet-purple colour. The nose begins a little mute with a suggestion of freshly crushed blackberries and blackcurrants, forest floor, cinnamon and a touch of loam. The palate is wonderfully concentrated with layers of macerated blackberry, cloves, vanilla and dark chocolate. A medium+ level of acidity and medium to firm fine and ripe tannins give excellent structure to the richness of flavours. Very long finish. Drink now to 2030. Tasted April 2009." - Lisa Perrotti-Brown (7/2009)
Opus One Proprietary Red 2009 (Napa Valley, California) - [ST 93]

94+ Points - Antonio Galloni's Vinous:
"The 2009 Opus One is impeccable. It brings together the silkiness of the 2007 with the power and darkness of the 2008, a combination that is hugely appealing, to say the least. With a little air, the 2009 can be enjoyed young, but it is best cellared for at least a few years, which will allow some of the baby fat to drop off. The blend is 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc, 6% Petit Verdot, 3% Merlot and 1% Malbec." - Antonio Galloni (Jun 2013)

95 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"This is comprised of a blend of four different vineyards from Hudson’s Home Ranch and Henry Road Ranch, all planted to Shot Wente clone. It was barrel fermented with natural yeast in French oak, 60% new, and aged for 12 months in barrel. The 2016 Chardonnay Hudson Vineyard opens with wonderfully gregarious honeyed peaches, ripe pears and candied ginger notes plus touches of almond croissant, beeswax and orange blossoms. Medium to full-bodied, the palate reveals the most seductive satiny texture, packed with layers of stone fruit and savory flavors, finishing very long and very spicy. 901 cases were made." - Lisa Perrotti-Brown (29th Oct 2018)
