90 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"A blend of 40% Grenache, 25% Cinsault, 20% Syrah and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, Bargemone's 2019 Coteaux d'Aix en Provence Rose boasts an attractively lifted, herbal note on the nose, plus hints of strawberries, cucumbers, melon and peppery spice. It's light to medium-bodied but with a pleasant, silky texture and plenty of length."

96 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
"The 2014 Doix Costers del Vinyes Velles checks in as 55% Carinyena and 45% Garnacha that spent 16 months in new French. Its deep ruby/purple color is followed by a beautiful perfume of blueberries, violets, graphite, lead pencil and iris flower. Just insanely pure, perfumed and complex, with full-bodied richness, this beauty glides across the palate with no weight, incredible tannin quality, no hard edges, and beautiful purity. While this cuvée used to be richer and slightly more concentrated, it’s more elegant, pure, and seamless today, without sacrificing intensity." (2/21/2018)

93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The most approachable of the reds is the young 2018 Les Crestes, produced with fruit from their younger vines. The fact that this is mostly Garnacha also adds to the (relative) lightness and drinkability in a cool-ish year like 2018, and it has more red fruit and fantastic freshness, with fine tannins and very integrated oak. 48,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2019 after eight months in French oak barrels." - Luis Gutiérrez (August 2019)

94 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
"The entry-level wine from Mas Doix, 2016 Salanques checks in as 65% Grenache (from 80-year-old vines) and the balance Carignan and Syrah, all of which was destemmed and spent 14 months in new and once-used barrels. Giving up a rocking bouquet of plum and blueberry fruits intermixed with plenty of minerality, violets, and hints of iodine, it’s medium to full-bodied, loaded with fruit, has a stacked mid-palate, and loads of character." - Jeb Dunuck (April 2019)

91 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"A terrific value, the 2014 Languedoc Cuvee Prestige checks in as a blend of 55% Grenache and 45% Syrah that’s brought up all in tank. It has tons of Mediterranean character in its sweet dark fruits, lavender, damp earth and peppery herb-laced bouquet. This gives way to a full-bodied, sexy, layered 2014 that has plenty of fruit, fine tannin and a hedonistic style that’s just hard to resist. It’s another outstanding vintage for this cuvee that’s well worth a multi-bottle purchase. Drink it over the coming 4-5 years." - Jeb Dunnuck (27th Apr 2016)

94 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"This is crammed with fruit, spice and structure, as braised fig, plum skin, cassis and anise notes wrestle with roasted apple wood, melted red licorice and tar for now. The embedded grip should carry the finish until this assimilates fully. Best from 2014 through 2024. 5,000 cases imported." –JM (Oct 31, 2011)

89 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine (2016 Vintage):
"Cinnamon and clove notes frame ripe flavors of cherry, kirsch, fig and plum pudding in this generous red. Features a plush texture, backed by light, firm tannins and orange peel acidity. A broad, heady style. Drink now through 2028. 5,700 cases made, 1,800 cases imported." - TM (Issue Oct 15, 2019)

Bodegas Beronia is quintessentially Rioja. Its wines are defined by the region and the soils in which the vines are grown, and its name linked to the history of the land where the winery is found. In the 3rd Century BC the area known as Rioja today was inhabited by a celtic tribe called the ‘Berones’. They inhabited the towns of Tricio, Varea and Leiva, marking the limits of the Berones region, today La Rioja. The founding ethos of Beronia is strongly allied to the origins of La Rioja. more info

90 Points - Vinous Media:
"Bright yellow-gold. Highly perfumed, mineral-accented aromas of dried pear and lemon pith are accompanied by a suave floral topnote. Chewy, incisive and dry on the palate, offering bitter pear skin and quinine flavors that steadily flesh out on the back half. Shows firm tension and repeating florality on a long, nervy finish that leaves a Meyer lemon note behind." - Josh Raynolds (April 2019)

93-95 Points - The Rhone Report:
"The 2011 Tablas Creek Esprit de Beaucastel, tast ed out of barrel and a blend of 40% Mourvèdre, 30% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and 10% Counoise, was de cidedly meaty and savory at the time of this tasting, with loads of meat juicy, pan dripping s, and mole sauce qualities supporting more pit styled fruits, licorice, and herbs de Provence. Beautifully full-bodied and elegant on the palate, with a full, dense mid-palate, fine, polished tannin, and a savory, chewy finish, this is more approachable then the 2010, and will be drinkable at an earlier age."
